Christmas time is a little different in California. The leaves are still changing colors. In fact, just a few weeks ago, this tree was multi-colored. Today, it was the overall deep orange of late fall, and with the sun glowing through the leaves...
"Komorebi". Technically an untranslatable word. This is the word the Japanese have for when sunlight filters through the trees—the interplay between the light and the leaves.
