A couple of weeks ago, I introduced you to Andy and Betty Wolfe (Humans of Downey - Andy and Betty part 1 and part 2). They were in the process of adding a new member to their front yard family. Now I'm back, to see the finished product, appropriately named Chip.
Chip isn't quite finished, although you can't hardly tell. He still needs a little more hair. (Apparently, you have to add just a little at a time, or it falls out.) You can't see it in these pictures, but since Chip is just a kid, his feet don't quite touch the ground—and his boots sometimes fall off.
Already, Woody, the "dad," is so life-like that passers-by call out greetings to him. Now Chip can add to the fun (and occasional confusion) as he and Woody share a cup of coffee on the front porch.
Thanks, Andy and Betty, for allowing me to be a part of this process.
