Yesterday Pam wrote about visiting the USS Arizona. Today we are exploring the North Shore of Oahu. Here, many people surf, old and young. These pictures are from a legendary beach on the North Shore known as "Pipeline." The waves we saw today ranged from 4 - 7 feet. When the conditions are right, waves on this beach can be 30 feet high. And, it's all right off shore, a mere 40 yards into the ocean.
Surfing rule #4 : "Missing good waves across the world doesn't bother us, unless our friends are there to ride them, brag about them and post photos."
