Today is the 150th anniversary of the death of President Abraham Lincoln. He was shot by John Wilkes Booth on April 14, 1865, just after 10:00pm, but he lived until 7:22am the next morning, April 15, 1865.
Many government offices flew their flags at half-mast today in honor of President Lincoln. Most historians and the general public regard Lincoln as one of the top three presidents. (cited from Wikipedia)
