It's time once again for our annual winter weekend at Yosemite. Today, we're hiking the Valley Floor Loop trail.
It's the first time I've walked this part of this trail. It's a bit different, since it doesn't have one of the famous Yosemite sights as a destination. It just wanders along the valley floor by the Merced River. Whether it's the trees opening up to a view of the valley walls or Half Dome peaking out above a view of a bend in the river, there is a surprise around every corner.
