Happy New Year's Eve! The new year is almost here and I'm on the south campus of Rancho Los Amigos at the site of the Downey Float Association.
The float is done and ready to make the 20-mile trip to Pasadena for the Rose Parade. The theme for the parade this year is "Dreams come true." Downey's float design is based on the Cinderella story called "The Glass Slipper." A beautiful collection of flowers and seeds.
Tomorrow, I will share a few more pictures of the Downey princesses.
