Do you remember where you were that September day. I remember going into the family room to watch the morning news and being shown the first tower on fire. I thought, "What a terrible accident." Then I watched as the second plane flew directly into the second tower. I thought, "That was no accident" and my pity turned into anger. Then as the towers collapsed it turned into grief as I thought about all those people instantly dying.
This house's owner has created a scene to help us remember that even in the midst of an enemy attack, freedom still stands.
“The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic, and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.”
