I guess it's official—with the sign up, Downey Gateway is nearing completion. A downtown corner packed with eating places. Not restaurants, exactly, but not your typical fast food places either.
What a difference a couple of months make. (Click here to compare to November.) The signs are up, the kitchens are beginning to look like kitchens, and the seating areas are filling in with seats.This seems like the kind of area that is likely to bring a lot more foot traffic to downtown. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
