One of the great things about Downey's location is that we can reach the beach in less than half an hour, so this morning, my daughter and I headed off to Seal Beach.
Kids of all ages were enjoying our 80-degree hot spell. The surfers and the kids enjoyed the water. Others sunbathed on the warm sand or relaxed in the shade of their umbrellas.
