We took a hike today along the Rio Hondo bike path. After our recent rainstorms, people were enjoying getting out in the sun and its gentle warmth.
We were passed by numerous bicyclists, both individuals and groups. The bike path stretches for 17 miles and passes two Downey parks: Crawford Park, where I usually enter the riverbed, and Treasure Island Park, where we started today.
