This was how our day began today. We boarded our vehicle (once again just Pam, me and our driver, Israel). We hit the road at 6 am sharp to get the most of our day. We hadn't seen any cats yesterday, so we were hoping for the best. Less than a kilometer from the gate, we came across our first leopard!
The beginning of a magical day!We also came across a group of hyenas hanging outside their den (right along side the road).
Africa is amazing! The animals are everywhere, you just have to look. Of course, the looking is from inside the vehicle, but what an adventure! Six hundred plus pictures later....suffice it to say, we had a good day.
