I went out the other night to take some photos of a vacant building in Downey. I instead was drawn to one of Downey's landmark restaurants, Stox Restaurant, Bakery, and Bar, located on Imperial Hwy. Stox has been thriving in Downey since 1962 and for good reason. The food and service are consistently the best in town. Their sign even says so.
The interior is definitely a peaceful 60s. You can see their menu here. Come by and see why they have lasted so long.
