Yesterday I showed you Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Downey. Today, I'll show you the other hospital in Downey, Downey Regional Medical Center. It is located on Brookshire Avenue and dates back to 1920. Recently, this hospital was bought by PIH Health that operates Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier.
This wing of the hospital is important to me since it is where my first grandchild was born."The very first requirement of a hospital is that it should do the sick no harm."
