As a follow-up to last week's post regarding Rio Hondo Golf Club, I thought I would show you more of the golf course. This is the eighth fairway.
Part of why I love golf is that for a couple of hours I get to experience the beauty that is nature, albeit man-planned. The last time I played here a flock of geese flew in and rested in this pond. Can't get that on a baseball field or bowling alley.

"Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots; you get good breaks from bad shots - but you have to play the ball where it lies."
