Today was the 27th annual Kids Day, "building healthy youth." Located at Apollo Park, carnival games and information booths were set up around most of the park. Downey police and the fire department were on hand to participate and provide demonstrations. There were tons of children roaming the park and they seemed to be having a great time. All in all, a beautiful day to celebrate kids.
