Have you ever just thought, "I need to get out of here and take a break!"? I do. A lot. And a great place to take one of those well earned breaks is down by the beach. Downey is close to a lot of beaches but by far, my favorite is Palos Verdes near Point Furman Lighthouse. The scenery is so calming and you can see for miles.
