It is a common sight to see these flowers in Downey. I have never really been attracted to them as they are just filler plants and nothing very exciting. Hummingbirds on the other hand apparently feel differently. I found this one rapidly bouncing from bloom to bloom near the In-N-Out parking lot. Although it hardly qualifies as a good shot, it just goes to show, I should really carry my camera around everywhere. Oh, I should also remember that when I do have my camera, I should switch the automatic focus to "off" and I should pay attention to where my subject is fluttering.
