Some signs of summer are very clear—longer days, shorts and swimsuits in the stores. Other signs are more obscure. This is one of those.
A couple of weeks ago, I came across some workers digging a long ditch to nowhere in Furman Park. When I asked what they were doing, they told me that they were extending the electrical lines out to the area where the stage will be located for the Twilight Summer Concert series.
