One of the advantages of living near a large city is the access that it gives you to world-class facilities such as Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.There are lots of fascinating exhibits, but one of my favorites is the sundial that gives accurate time to the minute. The shadow of the wire indicates the correct time on the ring.
I wish we had a few good science museums here in Beirut. We've got archeology (tons of it), but not so much with technology or science, which is too bad.
