
Last week, BP-19 moved to its new location on display behind the Columbia Memorial Space Center. You can see a picture of it being moved into location on the Space Center's Facebook page.
BP-19 is a test (that is, "boilerplate") version of the Apollo space capsule that went to the Moon. BP-19 was constructed in Downey by North American Aviation in 1963 and was used in many parachute drop tests.
