The well-recognized Salvation Army "Bell-Ringer" program is back for the Christmas season. Bell-ringers staff the Salvation Army donation "pots" around most cities in the US at Christmas time raising funds for the less fortunate.
Ruth Mirana works with the Salvation Army to "do the most good" staffing the donation pot at the Post Office on Firestone in Downey. I think we owe a big THANKS for these hard-working, caring individuals.
