Granata's has been the best little Italian restaurant in Downey as long as I can remember. It used to be on Florence Ave, but with the revitalization of the downtown area, it is now smack in the middle of downtown Downey. The atmosphere is old world and the food amazing.
Growing up my favorite was always the hamburger pizza. Now I love the Chicken Marsala. But, the best part is that this iconic Downey eatery is still here. Family owned and run since 1954, and continuing the tradition started over 50 years ago. There is something magical about that!
